You collected Toutiao articles explaining the same event and want to compare their sources. User information can describe how an account presents itself, but it does not score the reliability of every report.

Confirm the account behind the article

The contract points to a separate user-ID retrieval capability when needed. Establish the publishing account before querying its profile, rather than substituting a work ID. Distinguish that publisher from people or organizations quoted inside the article, especially when material has been retold or republished.

Record only supported background

The endpoint broadly returns user information. Choose fields from the actual response and leave absent details unresolved. Do not infer identity from a nickname or writing style. Label self-descriptions as public profile statements and keep independently confirmed information separate. Date the observation because account presentation may change.

Evaluate reports through their own evidence

Profile context helps orient reading, while factual judgments depend on citations, checkable material, and accurate statements in each article. A professional-looking account still requires scrutiny, and sparse profile information does not automatically make a report false. Deliver a source table showing identity, verification progress, and remaining questions rather than a simplistic reputation ranking that substitutes for evidence.
