A colleague shares a Toutiao article claiming a major industry change. You need to decide whether it belongs in today's briefing. Retrieving the article information establishes a source to investigate; it does not independently confirm the report.
Locate the article itself
Identify the work from its article link and keep the original URL. Do not substitute an account page, a video page, or an unrelated number copied from a search result. Check that the returned material corresponds to the intended article. A failed retrieval does not prove that the article was withdrawn.
Separate claims from editorial interpretation
The contract promises work information without guaranteeing a complete, identical field set for every article. Use what is actually available and revisit the source when a critical passage needs checking. List the event, the parties, the timing, and the sources quoted. Distinguish the author's interpretation from statements attributed to other people.
Give the briefing an evidence status
Look for primary announcements or independent corroboration as a separate editorial task. The detail endpoint does not perform that verification. Your briefing can explain what the article claims, which evidence supports it, and what remains unresolved. Keep retrieval time alongside the source, but do not mistake one snapshot for a revision history. Publication should depend on the strength of the evidence, not merely a successful lookup.
