Two accounts with the same Xiaohongshu nickname appear in your collaboration sheet. One colleague thinks the creator changed their avatar; another thinks they are different people. User details can help establish the current account references, but not prove real-world identity or partnership performance.
Check the lookup reference carefully
The endpoint accepts a user ID or share link, with the ID taking precedence when both are present. Do not combine an old identifier with a new link and assume the response validates the new destination. Preserve each recommendation source and keep records separate until the relationship is clear.
Fill background fields from public information
The contract describes nickname, avatar, biography, follower count, following count, and note count. Use available values and leave gaps unresolved. A biography is self-presentation, while counts provide limited scale context. Neither establishes buying power or conversion potential.
Continue content assessment separately
After confirming the account, inspect work relevant to the proposed collaboration and discuss terms through appropriate channels. Date the card and identify remaining reading tasks. Unavailable information is not zero followers and should not automatically disqualify a candidate. The cleaned list should reduce mistaken identity without suggesting that a profile lookup completed a full creator evaluation.
