A Xiaohongshu video keeps appearing in planning discussions because its cover is compelling. Nobody has explained what the video itself does well. Use its details to organize a review before deciding what belongs in your own production.

Confirm the intended video note

The endpoint accepts a note identifier or supported app and web share links. If both are provided, the identifier takes precedence. Avoid leaving an old identifier attached while investigating a new link. Check the author and cover before adding the work to the review sheet.

Separate the promise from its delivery

The contract describes playback information, cover imagery, author details, and interaction data. The cover makes a promise; watching the video shows how that promise is fulfilled. Note the opening question, information sequence, and clarity of demonstrations. A playback address is not a transcript or a retention curve, so do not invent audience drop-off points.

Propose a change you can evaluate

Turn the review into a specific production hypothesis, such as showing the finished result before explaining the steps. Label that as your proposed experiment. Interaction figures are a snapshot and do not prove a particular shot caused growth. Keep the source, the cover promise, your viewing observations, and the proposed change together so another editor can assess the reasoning.
