You saved a small-kitchen makeover note and want to buy supplies this weekend. The title sounds simple, but crucial measurements may appear in later pictures. Read the text and images together before turning the reference into a shopping list.

Choose one source identifier

Use either note_id or share_text. The documented sharing input supports full links and xhslink.com or xhslink.cn short links. If both parameters are supplied, note_id takes precedence. Remove an old note ID before pasting a different sharing link, or you may retrieve the previous note again.

Match pictures to the instructions

The response description includes note content, an image list, author information and engagement data. Inspect the available images and record dimensions, installation order and space requirements separately. Reading text embedded in pictures requires manual inspection or a separate recognition tool; this endpoint does not automatically deliver a materials spreadsheet. Do not estimate a purchase dimension from a photograph when the author has not specified it.

Recognize a video-note mismatch

For a video note, this endpoint returns only basic information such as its cover, without a video playback URL. A cover does not provide the full installation sequence. Use the appropriate content capability or watch the original before writing instructions.

Add measurements from your own kitchen

Your worksheet can contain item, reference specification, home measurement, suitability and source-image note. A shelf may look appropriate while still exceeding your available wall space. Separate the author's advice from your own measurements. Before buying, check that each item has an adequate dimensional basis and leave unresolved items pending. The result is a decision aid tailored to your kitchen, not a copied shopping list.
