Put the interview direction into the query
For an interview about urban transport, use a precise subject or a known name in keyword. User search helps discover accounts to investigate; it does not produce a panel of credential-verified experts. List two or three questions the interview should answer before deciding whether a candidate’s public work is relevant.
Read the contribution before assigning a role
Use offset and limit to inspect ranges and keep track of candidates already checked. Distinguish similar names through their individual profiles rather than merging matching portraits. A hypothetical author discussing commuting may offer personal experience, source synthesis, or professional research. Any of these can be interesting, but each supports a different kind of question.
Preserve a concrete invitation rationale
Your candidate record can include the account source, relevant answer links, proposed question, and background needing confirmation. Do not add imagined private contact details or claim the person is willing to participate. Discovery is only the first step; selection requires reading and ordinary communication. A colleague receiving the list should understand why this person might answer this question, rather than seeing an unsupported expertise score. Leave credentials that have not been checked explicitly unresolved.
