Suppose you discover a Zhihu column about urban redevelopment and have one weekend to learn the background. Opening the latest titles in order may leave important concepts unexplained. The article list gives you an inventory from which to build a reading route.
Establish the boundary of your inventory
Confirm the column identifier rather than substituting an author or article identifier. Start with a small page and check the subject matter. Continue with the documented offset pagination, recording which portions you collected. Deduplicate by article identity when the list changes between requests.
Treat title-based categories as provisional
You might group entries into definitions, case studies, and policy discussions. Those are your editorial labels, not classifications guaranteed by the endpoint. Open the important articles before deciding what they establish. A title can suggest relevance without supplying the argument or its qualifications.
Publish a route that acknowledges gaps
Place introductory material before specialist examples and add one sentence explaining why each article is included. Keep links or identifiers that let readers return to the source. After reading, revise the sequence and note questions that require other sources. A partial inventory is not the column's entire history, and a column is not necessarily a complete treatment of its subject. The result should help someone start reading intelligently, not imply that a list has already done the reading for them.
