Organise the directory before opening every video

When tidying a body of video references, start with the user’s collection list using uid. The result includes collection identifiers, names, descriptions, and video counts. That helps choose a manageable scope for the next step, but it is not the same as reading every work inside every collection.

Treat names as organisational clues

If hypothetical folders are called Learning and Travel, keep them as entry points for inspection rather than judging content quality from the labels. A displayed count describes the directory’s reported size, not the number of accessible videos you have verified. Preserve the relationship between each collection ID and its name; identical names should not be merged automatically.

Write a prioritised review plan

Your directory worksheet can record the source, intended use, review priority, and questions needing a closer look. Start with the group relevant to this week’s writing and leave others for later. Empty or missing results do not prove that related material was never saved; visible scope may differ from the underlying history. The deliverable is an actionable organisation plan, not a completed media inventory without item-level inspection. Collection labels should also not become unsupported judgments about the owner’s identity or interests.

Run the Python example

Install requests and set TRMESH_API_TOKEN in your environment. Replace the sample identifiers with the public object you intend to inspect. Example IDs may no longer be available.

response = requests.get(
