You have selected several Weibo posts for a discussion document and need readable author labels beside them. Basic user information can provide that context without pretending to be a complete account investigation.
Start from the confirmed user ID
The endpoint requires a user identifier, not a post identifier. Match it to the source being quoted. Reposts may involve both an original author and a person sharing the post, so decide whose statement the quotation represents before attaching a profile.
Preserve the meaning of basic labels
The contract describes identifiers, usernames, avatars, biographies, and verification information. Display only available information. Do not invent occupations or institutional affiliations. Verification should not be rewritten as proof that every statement is authoritative or factually correct. Avatars and biographies aid recognition rather than validating a claim.
Keep identification separate from quotation accuracy
The author card answers which account supplied the material. The quotation still needs its own context and source. Date the profile observation and preserve relevant historical identity clues when later refreshing the display. Relationships, full posting history, and long-term viewpoints require other research. The finished document should make sources easier to revisit, not imply that adding an avatar completes a credibility review.
