Searching a new tool's abbreviation returns unrelated posts on X. Before summarizing reactions, improve the query and decide which kind of result answers your question. Search settings shape the evidence you see.
Use terms that identify the subject
List the product's full name, common abbreviation, and the issue you want to investigate. Inspect a small batch for collisions with other products, people, or jokes. A matching word does not establish relevance. Write down inclusion rules so another researcher can understand your choices.
Choose the appropriate result window
The contract offers types such as Top, Latest, Media, People, and Lists. A people search is not a post sample. Popular and recent results answer different discovery needs and should not be combined into an assumed natural ranking. Follow the returned cursor when continuing, retaining the query, type, and observation time.
Make claims that the sample supports
Distinguish experience reports, questions, retellings, and promotion. Check repeated wording before counting apparently independent opinions. Search does not return every platform discussion, and absence does not prove nobody encountered an issue. Report the concerns visible in your relevant sample and identify evidence still needed, rather than attributing a single position to all users.
