You found a relevant category on Reddit's discovery page and now want to read its discussions. The topic feed turns that navigation choice into a content entrance, but individual relevance still needs review.
Reuse the identifier supplied by discovery
The contract expects a topic identifier in the documented form, obtained from the discovery topics list. Do not invent one from a label or substitute a subreddit name. Store the label, identifier, and observation date so later collection uses the same entrance.
Keep the reading settings consistent
Record the category scheme, sort, time range, and formatting choice. Different settings create different samples rather than one naturally continuous list. Inspect the initial response for structure and relevance before expanding the research. Do not fill absent statistics or historical coverage with assumptions.
Explain inclusion at the post level
Keep material because it provides a relevant experience, question, or alternative explanation, not merely because a recommendation placed it in the category. Some entries may be peripheral or repeated. Deliver a small set of traceable sources with its category and observation scope. Important discussion can exist outside this entrance, so conclusions should describe the material read rather than claim complete coverage of a field.
