You have booked an interview with a supply-chain professional and received their LinkedIn URL. Copying the entire biography into a briefing rarely produces useful questions. Instead, use the public profile to identify career transitions and points that deserve clarification.
Start with the correct member page
The endpoint accepts a full personal profile URL, rather than a company page or search-results address. Compare the person's name and company with the invitation context. Similar names and locations do not establish identity. Keep the original page in the briefing so the interviewer can check it again.
Turn career details into questions
The contract describes public fields such as name, company, biography, location, follower count, experience, and education. Work with what is actually present. A transition between industries might inspire a question about operational differences; it does not justify claiming responsibility for an unmentioned project. Follower counts do not validate professional expertise.
Mark what the guest should confirm
Separate profile statements from your own research questions and information awaiting confirmation. Public career histories may be outdated. Ask about current responsibilities or project contributions rather than presenting guesses as facts. Deliver a short background note, several specific questions, and the source URL. This lookup neither verifies educational credentials nor supplies private contact details.
