A colleague shares a Kuaishou video and says its opening would suit next week's product demonstration. Before that link disappears in the group chat, turn it into a reference card. The useful outcome is a concrete editing question, rather than another unexplained bookmark.

Check whether the reference is actually a video

This V1 endpoint accepts a shared work link and explicitly excludes photo-only posts. If the reference is a photo post, move it to a separate review queue. An unsupported format does not establish that the creator deleted the work or that the content performed poorly.

Build the card from available information

Inspect the returned structure before choosing the fields for your card. Keep the original share link so another editor can reopen the source. Do not assume every response includes complete performance figures or downloadable material. Preserve the colleague's recommendation separately from facts retrieved about the work.

Translate inspiration into a filming question

Watch the source and describe how the opening introduces a problem, what changes next, and whether your own product can support the same demonstration. These are editorial observations you add yourself. The endpoint does not explain why a video succeeded. Hand the producer a traceable reference and a few testable choices, without treating access to the work as permission to republish it.

Request URL and parameters

GET https://api.trmesh.com/openapi/api/v1/kuaishou/web/fetch_one_video

Parameter Type Required Meaning
share_text string Yes

Run the Python example

Install requests and set TRMESH_API_TOKEN in your environment. Replace the sample identifiers with the public object you intend to inspect. Example IDs may no longer be available.

import os
import requests

# Read your own developer key from the server environment.
url = "https://api.trmesh.com/openapi/api/v1/kuaishou/web/fetch_one_video"
params = {
    "share_text": "https://www.kuaishou.com/f/X-f2k5KJpiXN1SY"
}
response = requests.get(
    url, params=params, timeout=30,
    headers={"Authorization": f"Bearer {os.environ['TRMESH_API_TOKEN']}"},
)
response.raise_for_status()
payload = response.json()
print(payload) # Inspect the actual response before mapping fields
