Use a room identifier from the intended session

If your working record already contains room_id, use this V2 operation to retrieve live-stream data. Confirm its provenance instead of substituting webcast_id or sec_uid. Similar-looking identifiers serve different lookup paths. When a creator broadcasts repeatedly, make sure the record concerns the room you intend to inspect rather than an earlier session.

Retrieval and playback are separate checks

Work from the data actually returned rather than assuming every broadcast exposes identical details. If a hypothetical task is to check whether a product demonstration opens, verify it in the intended viewing environment after obtaining the information. Without that second action, report only that data was retrieved. One successful check also does not prove uninterrupted playback throughout the session.

Add the target and time to the handoff

Your check sheet can contain room_id, source record, observation time, and result. Do not treat live media information as a replay entry after the session ends or as permission to record it. If the result differs from expectations, verify the room and event timing before investigating further. A good handoff lets the next colleague revisit the same target and see which actions were completed, rather than hiding unperformed checks behind a vague statement that everything was normal.

Run the Python example

Install requests and set TRMESH_API_TOKEN in your environment. Replace the sample identifiers with the public object you intend to inspect. Example IDs may no longer be available.
