Search for the task rather than a broad interest
If your goal is a short family-photo edit, a generic editing query can produce an overwhelming course list. Put the software or specific action into keyword and look for material that addresses the immediate job. General search returns discovery information; it does not assess your experience or certify that the first result is best for beginners.
Make the filters serve your schedule
Choose duration, order, and page_size to fit your review plan, and use page for subsequent results. Consult the definitions of pubtime_begin_s and pubtime_end_s when narrowing the publication period. Software interfaces change, so publication timing is only a clue: still check whether the demonstrated steps apply to your version.
Try one small exercise before committing
Suppose two candidate videos explain trimming clips. Watch the relevant portions and try the action on your own material. Record each source, whether you could reproduce the step, and where you became stuck. Those observations are more useful for your next learning decision than search position alone. Do not invent quality scores or describe every candidate as a tested recommendation. Finish with a practical path toward a completed edit, rather than an ever-growing queue of tutorials that you have not attempted to follow.
